The holiday season is always a wonderful time for Calgarians to gather and celebrate and look back on the challenges and accomplishments of the previous year. This year, we’ll be looking back a little further than just a year. In fact, we’d like to look back 20 years, and celebrate two decades of success as a small Calgary business.
After a career in the military, our founder, John McCrimmon, returned home and found work in the hot tub industry. He enjoyed his work, and John thrived on learning a new trade and being of service. He liked the hands-on work, and he was keen to learn everything there was to know about refurbishing tubs and succeeding in the industry.
In 1999, John’s first son was born. With some excellent industry experience under his belt, John decided to celebrate the birth of his first child by striking out on his own to build a future and legacy for his growing family. RnR was founded that same year by John, though many of our customers simply know him as “the big guy.” Today, John is joined by his wife, Kim, who has been an integral member of the team for years. The rest of the RnR team can’t overstate how proud we are of John and Kim who have worked together to grow and expand RnR into the thriving small business it is today.
Over the last 20 years, we have been so fortunate to watch this business flourish. RnR began as one man in one bay at 5700 Barlow Trail SE. Today, our company has expanded into three additional bays and the RnR team has grown to include seven wonderfully dedicated and committed people. From our skilled service technicians to our friendly sales staff, each member of RnR is knowledgeable, professional, and goes the extra mile to help our customers feel welcome and cared for.
This holiday season on our business’s 20th anniversary, all we can say is thank you! Thank you so much for your continued support over the last two decades. We wouldn’t be here without you.
We’d also like to ask you a small favour. As a bunch of middle-aged business people, we always feel like we’re playing catch up with the latest internet and social trends. We truly believe that we’re the best at what we do, and we’d love to reach more Calgarians in search of our services. If it’s not too much to ask, we’d really appreciate if our loyal customers would like our Facebook page and share it with any friends and family members who are hot tub enthusiasts. It would mean the world to us.
For our last 20 years and the next 20 to come, we want to say: Thank you, Calgary! We are so lucky to be doing what we love in the best city in the world. From everyone at RnR Hot Tubs & Spas, we wish you cozy, warm holidays with the people you love most.
