Steel vs. wood: why the frame matters

Vita Spa steel frame
Traditional wood frame
Galvanized, zinc-coated steel resists corrosion
Exposed to moisture, especially in winter
Never rots, warps, splits or cracks
Can rot over time
Won’t expand or contract with moisture
Rot can loosen skirt panels
No termite or animal damage
Vulnerable to insects and pests
Highest strength-to-weight ratio
Structural integrity can be compromised

Add-ons for your spa

The Spa Dragon

A power outage or a tripped breaker in winter can freeze the water in the plumbing. The Spa Dragon watches for it.

  • Starts a backup heater if the water gets too cold
  • Runs on its own power
  • Sends a text or email when something is wrong
