How it works
In winter a heater failure, a power outage or a tripped breaker can let the water in the plumbing freeze. That cracks pipes and breaks components, and the spa stays unusable until it is repaired. The Spa Dragon watches for the conditions that cause it.
Monitors the water temperature
It reads the spa's water temperature continuously and starts a backup heater when the temperature drops far enough to put the plumbing at risk.
Runs on its own power
It does not draw on the hot tub's main supply, so it keeps working through a tripped breaker or an outage - the situations that cause the freeze in the first place.
Tells you when something is wrong
Text and email alerts when the spa needs attention, so a cabin, a rental or a spa you are away from does not depend on someone dropping by to check it.
