Hot tubs are available at a wide range of prices, and there is also a wide range of quality and construction differences. Lower-quality spas can be found from anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 while higher quality spas can range anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 or more.
As the saying often goes - you get what you pay for. While it may seem like a good idea to spend less upfront on your hot tub, be aware that this doesn’t always lead to a great experience. Often the cheap tubs will only last a few years and can ultimately become much more costly in repairs and energy bills.
At our learning center we are happy to walk you through the differences and what to look for when hot tub shopping.
Hot tubs are an investment, and as such you want to make sure that whoever is selling you your tub can take care of you and your spa!
Look for a company that has a dedicated service team on staff, and
that has access to the parts needed to keep your hot tub running and in good shape.
The last thing you want is to be stuck in the middle of a cold snap with a heater element on backorder from China or Europe, or being left on hold with an overseas call center. Ask how long they have been in business and check online reviews.
There are a lot of variables which will affect the cost of operating a hot tub.
One of the most important features to look for is an insulation system with a lifetime warranty. To help calculate the approximate monthly cost, look for an Energy Guide as recommended for all major appliances.
Our team of water care professionals take all the guesswork out of managing and balancing your water. Often new tubs can come with equipment to make water care easier, and some of our delivery packages even come with our comprehensive spa school to teach you everything you need to know. On top of that, we offer a full service water maintenance program to do it all for you!
NO! Salt water systems seem like a good idea at first and are being marketed as better for you, however this is untrue.
Saltwater systems are essentially chlorine generators and they lead to a lot of headaches - expensive maintenance and repairs, exposure to excess chlorine, damage to your yard and
patio from corrosive salt and more.
Salt systems are simply not worth the headache. We would rather get you into fresh, clean, and balanced water!
Ozone has been used for decades as a water treatment device. When ozone gas is dissolved in water, it acts as a broad spectrum biocide that destroys bacteria, viruses and other potential water-borne pathogens.
UV rays have been long used as a sterilization system (think hospital equipment). While both systems are helpful in maintaining clear and sanitized water, experts discovered that combining both
together is exponentially more effective at sanitizing water.
This allows us to reduce your chemical use to almost nothing for healthier, cleaner water.
